Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I Love Ya????

No not really. Tomorrow I go back to work. It is tough each year, giving up the freedom of having a flexible schedule, doing what I want, when I want. I am dreading the exhaustion that come with being a working at work mom. But I will do it and it will become a routine, like it always does. I haven't posted and pictures in a while so here are some.....

J and his buddy W

W, Miss M and A (love those curls)

Mommy's favorite Bumble Bee

G-mom and J
Paul, J and I at the dolphin show

Bubble towers are cool!

In my next post, I will tell about my wonderful birthday!

Sleepy Heads

Both kids asleep in the car. That never happens!

H-E-R-O

J and his friend A attended VBS this week. The theme was Heroes in the Bible. Most of the pictures I took didn't turn out but I captured a few of J with the HERO signs that went along with the song he sang all week...."H-E-R-O! God is my hero!" The final night, he finally got to hold and raise a letter! Hooray! ( In know- Red eyes! My camera battery was low and it was dark)

Good movie

We took J to see the Beezus and Ramona movie yesterday and I cannot say enough about it. First of all, it was rated G which is a plus. Being a huge fan of the whole Ramona series of books (by Beverly Cleary), I was skeptical of how good the movie would turn out, however, it was perfect. They took little events from each book and made the movie. It had a great message and it had no super scary villain (which is good because J gets frightened easily) and I just loved it! I would certainly recommend it to you especially if you grew up reading the books, like I did.

So soon?

J proposed today to his friend A. We were going to their pool to spend the afternoon and in the parking lot J said, "Do you want to get married?" and A replied "I don't know. I'll think about it." Maybe cuz he didn't have a ring? he-he.
They have been buddies since birth since her mom in one of my best friends. I keep waiting for their friendship to wear thin because they go to different school and such. But each time they are together, they are the Dynamic Duo- full of the Dickens and Up to No Good!
He was upset that she didn't say yes but of course, I told him he had plenty of time.

Smart girl..

Here is Miss M's little kitchen. She plays with it a lot but has never shown that she "knows" what it is, and the function of a kitchen. She usually just plays with the plastic food and dumps it all on the floor.

So yesterday I opened the fridge as I was picking up the food (that was all over the floor) and this is what I found.

She obviously knows where the drinks go.........in the fridge!
