Interview with a Boy

I interviewed my sweet boy J. Here is what he answered to my questions.


1) What is something I always say to you? I Love You!
2) What makes me happy? me.
3) What makes me sad? I doing bad things.
4) How do I make you laugh? Us being silly
.5) What do you think I was like as a kid? You were silly and crawled
6) How old am I? 16...Is that correct?
7) How tall am I?17 ! (Inches? feet? He replied, JUST 17!!!)
8) What is my favorite thing to do? read
9) What do I do when your not around? You work
10) If I become famous, what will it be for? You can be a singer
11) What am I really good at? teaching
12) What am I NOT really good at? driving! (WTHECK?)
13) What is my job? teaching and working
14) What is my favorite food?soup (really???)
15) What makes you proud of me? That you love me and I love you back.
.16) If I were a cartoon character, which one would i be? Candace from Phineas and Ferb
17) What do you and I do together?Sit and read
18) How are we the same? We both love each other

Magical

Last night we were eating dinner talking with J about how is is disrespectful for people to say, "Oh My God" and how that hurts Jesus' feelings. We were then talking about my Uncle Ken who had a successful surgery and how we prayed for him, Then J says, "Jesus really is magical. He can fix the bad things"

Well said my boy!

Rain Boots

I have always wanted cute rain boots. I haven't had a pair since I was little. So I finally broke down and bought a pair that I found at a reasonable price.

Aren't they cute? I also bought J a pair that came with a matching raincoat. I wanted to save them for Easter but with all of the rain we have had, I gave them to him early.

Anyhow, I got my boots Saturday. Guess when the rain stopped? Just about the time I went to the store on Sunday!

So if you ever want the rain to stop, just buy a pair of cute rain boots. It's fail proof.

Bird out of a cage

Today was wonderful. 60ish degrees, sunny. My sister and I took the kids to the park to play. I opened windows, made food on the grill for dinner, soaked in God's light. The park was packed (it is a park with a rubber "ground" and so it wasn't too wet or muddy) but we had fun anyhow. J ran around like a crazy boy and Miss M was just soaking in all of the sights. She went on the swing and didn't like it but enjoyed just walking around looking at all of the kids. It was wonderful to be out. Of course, I left my camera in the car so I have no pictures. Oh well. great day. I needed it!
