Spur of the Moment

I am a huge planner. Not big on spur of the moment plans but I am glad I gave in. We went on a trip to a local ski/tubing report and had a blast.

Snow Days

We are on snow day #3!

After spending 20 minutes getting the kids ready to go outside we got to use our new snow disks!

Poor J has on rain boots and too small snow pants. Bad mom!

After we had gone through 3 pairs of gloves and M was screaming from cold hands, we went in!

January so far

We have had a busy month so far. We started the year off by going to a Capitals game with my sister and brother-in-law. We had so much fun. We hadn't been out without the kids in a while.

The pics are a little out of order. We ate at a yummy Chinese restaurant before the game. It was so good. Makes my stomach growl just thinking about it!

The next weekend was a baby shower for our nephew and his wife who are expecting a baby boy in march. ( I know 3 people having baby boys by March- funny huh?)

Since this is their first baby, we threw a daddy shower the evening after the mommy shower.

Here is his survival apron. SO FUNNY! and a super cute idea that I am totally going to steal!

We spent Christmas morning at my in-laws. It was a different type of Christmas for many reasons but we still enjoyed the day.

I know- not many pictures. I (and by "I", I mean Paul) got ham grease all over my sweater so I had to wash it and put on a sweatshirt. I was hot and grumpy after that and put the camera down. Luckily, my niece took pictures!

A Late Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all 3 of my blog readers! :P

I will do a Christmas post soon, I promise. The stomach virus/ ear infection monster has reared his ugly head in our home and so I haven't had the time or energy to post.

Happy Birthday

to my beautiful little girl Miss M!

She is my feisty little one. She hates to be told "no", can turn the tears on and off like a light switch. She sleeps 11-12 hours a night, goes to bed without a fight. She still loved her "Boo" (Binky) when she goes to bed. She loves her brother with all of her heart. She likes to find markers and color her belly, toes and fingers. She loves to cuddle and can melt my heart when she says, "Mommy, I hold you". She gets into everything. She eats every food offered to her but loves "roni" (Mac-n-cheese) and "bean-beans" (green beans) the best! She has the best little laugh and the cutest nasally voice. She loves to pay in the tub. She loves to wear dresses and her black boots, a hand-me-down from Cousin ~T. She loves for me to paint her toenails. At bedtime she likes to have two blankets and two cloth diapers to hold.

We are so blessed to have this little girl. Happy 2nd Birthday! We love you so much!
