Welcome to Not Me Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.I am writing my first "NOT ME!" Monday, inspired by cousin Becky.
...I most certainly did NOT let J eat Goldfish crackers for breakfast this week.
...I did NOT let J hula-hoop in the house, only to hit his sister with it.
....I absolutely did NOT let my 6 month old suck on a piece of watermelon. She did NOT then puke all over the carpet in my mother's living room, on my shorts, on her clothing, my mom's china cabinet.
.....and I most certainly did NOT lock the bathroom door so that I could have 3 minutes of peace. This was only after J did NOT barge in twice. He always leaves me alone while using the bathroom.

Fun day with Cousins
I got the opportunity to spend the day with my niece, C last week. She lives in another state but was visiting her other aunts so I got to spend a day with her. I picked her up and we had lunch at my moms. We had fun, eating lunch and looking at mom's dolls. C also got to witness Miss M barfing up all over my mom's carpet....good times! She was so good with M. Very sweet.

Mom has dolls from all over the world. C escaped with 6 of them! :)

Then we headed to my house where C and J played outside. Poor C. J had her running all over the place. Then we headed for Chick-Fil-A to get dinner to take to Aunt Ju-ju's house. The kids had a ball. Uncle Tim carried them up and down the hill in a wheel barrow. Not so safe, but still fun. They played tag and foot ball with the dog. I am so glad we got to spend the day with her.

A day at the beach
We decided to spend July 3rd at a local state park. It is a nice place, with many areas to picnic, lots of playgrounds and a small beach type area. To me, it is not a beach unless the ocean is attached to it! :)
Of course, J and M spend time playing on the towels together, but not for long.
It was water time for him. It was nice because it was shallow enough for him to swim with out floaties!
Then the sand. He loved the sand. He played so nicely with another boy. We weren't quite prepared for this trip and forgot our sand toys but the other boy shared quite nicely!
But sand+water = beach to J.
The weather was so beautiful. Perfect- low 80s, low humidity, cool breeze. Perfect. We packed a picnic and headed off. We didn't tell j where we were going unless it was over crowded or dirty as some local "beaches" can be, but it was great!
Miss M was sportin' her bikini again. It may be for the last time, as she was bustin out of the pants! Isn't she sitting up well?

Funny shirt
Being a teacher, I usually hate those t-shirts that boys wear with random obnoxious sayings on them. Some of the are really offensive in my opinion. I, however, found one for J that made me LOL!
If you cannot read it, it says, "Sorry girls! Mom says no dating!"
I just thought is was really funny. When he was a baby, I got him one that said "Chick Magnet". That was funny too.
BTW- Can you all tell that I am not working? I don't think I have posted this much on my blog in this short of time ever!
New purchase
Look what I bought today!
I am very excited to have found a walking/jogging stroller at the consignment shop. It is in pretty decent shape. We have about a bazillion strollers so I really didn't need another one but I have been really making a point of walking every day, now that I am not working and the big stroller is not very good on the sidewalks. So we looked for one and I bought it today.

The ride was smooth and I really liked it. I hope buying will motivate me to walk every day....even when the weather turns 95 degrees!
Here is M after our walk. She may be a bit small for it yet, but she didn't complain a bit!
