For three months today, we have been a family of four. IT is so weird how I cannot remember life before Little Miss M. It is as if she had always been here. At 3 months, she is smiling and cooing like crazy. She holds her head up really well and loves to observe the world around her. She smiles at her big brother when he talks to her. She loves her bath, her swing and her mirror. She looks so pretty in pink. Her cheeks are larger than the rest of her face- so chubby! She sleeps about 9 hours a night and has been for weeks. She is such a sweet baby. We are so blessed. Her smile melts my heart. We are really learning her signals, when she is hungry or when she just wants us to hold her tight so she can sleep. She loves her binkie. She has gorgeous blue eyes and some red hair growing in...My g-mom (dad's mom), my Aunt Cynthia and cousin Becky all have red hair so it must be in the genes. (BTW- Becky's son Tate (8 months perhaps) looks freakishly like M!...weird)
Anyhow, I will post her 3 month photo soon.

Prayers needed
My g-mom, a.k.a. Nanny, fell Thursday night and broke her hip. She had surgery on Friday and is recovering. Please pray for her healing and my mom's sanity as she deals with all of this. Thanks!

You know I love snow....
but I need spring. I need to get out of the house in the evenings, especially when hubby is at work, and take a walk. I need some sunshine. My poor, poor skin needs moisture. I have never used so much Eucerin and Aquafor as I have this winter. My legs look like an alligator's skin. My hair is so staticy...yuk....
Don't get me wrong- I like winter; snow days are what I live for in these LONG winter months, but I live in this area of the U.S. for a reason.....4 seasons! Just when I get sick of one, the next one comes around.
So come on spring!

You might be a teacher if...
-you smile from ear to ear when you look out the window and see white stuff falling from the sky.
-six of your teacher friends call you between the hours of 4 and 7 to discuss the probability of it snowing enough to close school.
-you know the time of day it needs to start snowing and how much it needs to snow in order for them to close schools.
-you love snow more than the average child.
-you wake up in the middle of the night to see if it is still snowing or started snowing yet.
- you get giddy a week in advance if the 7 day forecast even mentions snow.
-you know all of the snow dances and even though you know it is a myth, you still wear your PJ's inside out if they are calling for snow.
If these all apply to you , you might be a teacher!
Happy snow day!

Miss me?
Hey everyone! I am super short on blogging time here lately. So some quick updates.
We are starting to get used to all of this craziness with me working. Can you believe it has been 4 weeks already??? My mother-in-law has been a super help with the baby and the house. God bless her. Miss M is doing so well. She sleeps about 9 hours a night and that is good, as my mornings are starting so early these days. She is getting big. I have now switched her clothes over to the 3-6 month stuff. It is hard to believe. J is doing really well. He is writing and reading in school. It brings tears to my eyes when his teacher shows me his work. I am going to his class Monday to read to his class for Read Across America. He will love it. He got a library card today. He was so excited. He also ended basketball today and got a trophy. He was thrilled. So cute!
BTW- our computer is acting up-has a possible virus so I cannot load our pictures to it, otherwise, I'd post some pics of my kiddos. I will try to get some posted soon, so once we fix the computer.
My grading isn't caught up, but it will get done. The kitchen and bathroom floors need a good scrubbing but I will get to it. I try to spend my evenings with M and J and am trying not to freak out about the house. They are only little once, right?
March is a long month. I don't have any days off but I might take one. In April I have spring break. We are going to stay home but travel to an Outlet Mall and stay overnight in the middle of the week off. It will be nice to get away.
Anyhow, I better get to bed. Hope you all are doing well!

HEy y'all
I have now survived 3 weeks back to work. How? I am not sure. I have been very lucky this week as Little M is sleeping about 8 hour nights. She is waking up around 4, which makes my day super long, but my nights have been uninterrupted. Last night she slept almost 10 hours. THANK GOD ABOVE!!!! I am extremely overwhelmed with housework, mainly laundry that needs to be folded and put away, but sleep is important too, so I opt to go to bed instead of staying up for 2 hours to do laundry.
Anyhow, everything else is ok. We are all well, thank goodness. We seem to be forming our new "reality" of mom being back at work. I just hope the juggling of housework, school work and everything else works out soon.

Still alive....
I am still alive....I have had NO time to blog.......work is kicking my butt and when I get home, I'd rather hang with my kiddos than blog......Just know that all is well, and we are all surviving. I am tired, but going back was a pretty smooth transition. More later!
(BTW- It is 2 AM. I have been up since one...baby was hungry and then J got a bloody nose. Good times.....5 Am is coming up quickly so I better get my rear back in bed!)
