HEy y'all

I have now survived 3 weeks back to work. How? I am not sure. I have been very lucky this week as Little M is sleeping about 8 hour nights. She is waking up around 4, which makes my day super long, but my nights have been uninterrupted. Last night she slept almost 10 hours. THANK GOD ABOVE!!!! I am extremely overwhelmed with housework, mainly laundry that needs to be folded and put away, but sleep is important too, so I opt to go to bed instead of staying up for 2 hours to do laundry.
Anyhow, everything else is ok. We are all well, thank goodness. We seem to be forming our new "reality" of mom being back at work. I just hope the juggling of housework, school work and everything else works out soon.

Still alive....

I am still alive....I have had NO time to blog.......work is kicking my butt and when I get home, I'd rather hang with my kiddos than blog......Just know that all is well, and we are all surviving. I am tired, but going back was a pretty smooth transition. More later!

(BTW- It is 2 AM. I have been up since one...baby was hungry and then J got a bloody nose. Good times.....5 Am is coming up quickly so I better get my rear back in bed!)

Snow Day

The Alleluia Chorus was running through my mind as I saw that schools were closed for snow today. What a blessing. The snow is beautiful and no matter what stress I am feeling, I watch the snow fall and feel peaceful. Of course, when it gets dirty and slushy, the feeling is lost, but those times when the snow is lightly falling and the world is quiet and the trees are covered- I just LOVE IT!!!
We are waiting for the heating guy to come. Something i wrong with our outside unit (only 2 years old) so the guy that installed it is coming out. Pray that it is something small.

I am going to go open the blinds and watch- the babe is asleep and for the next few minutes, my world is peaceful.

Back to work

I have to go back to work tomorrow. Reality bites. I knew this day would come, just not so quickly. I know M will be in the best hands, her dad's and g-mom's, but mine are better! I am anxious over being able to juggle everything and work. Luckily, summer is coming in a few months. Pray for me- tomorrow is going to be hard. It will be nice to be a teacher again, see the kids. I do miss seeing my friends and it will be great to be around them again. I am going to try to be positive- I am grateful that I have a job, when so many do not. It will just be tough, leaving my little girlfriend.

More pics

Big Brother J loves his sister. He is here giving her a "nose kiss". I will have to show him this in a few years when they are fighting. :)
Finally, J and Paul demolished the gingerbread house. They pretended to be eating big chunks of it.

Sweet Miss M in her pink bear suit from Aunt Julie. Isn't she precious?????

Look who found her reflection?

Here are my beautiful babies. Makes a momma's heart melt. :)
J decided to have a beach party inside the other day when it was freezing out. He even made the sun. He is very imaginative and makes things out of paper.

Ick

The GI Virus has hit my house. It is so nasty. J had it Thursday, Paul has it now. I am Clorox-wiping, hot-water- washing and Lysol-ing everything. Please pray that me and Little Miss M avoid this horrid sickness. I HATE cleaning up bodily fluids. I cannot stop gagging. ew......

Q-Tip Picking

I needed a laugh this week and today I got it. While Miss M was sleeping, I got a shower. After my shower, like usual, I reached under the sink to get a Q-Tip to clean my ears. Pretty typical, right? Well, I stick the thing in my ear and it pokes me. I take it out and look, and both ends have no cotton on them. Hmmmm, I thought, maybe a faulty Q-Tip. So, I grab the next one and what do you know, same thing! So I look under the sink carefully and there are about 10 Q-Tips w/o cotton. Then, I notice a little pile of cotton sitting next to the Q-Tip box. Mice you ask? Nope! Little boy! Upon asking him, he admitted he was picking off the cotton on the Q-Tips while mom and dad slept. Fortunately, there is nothing under there that could hurt him and he is pretty good about that stuff, so I am not worried that he ingested something bad. Apparently I should have never bought him any gifts for Christmas, just a box of Q-Tips of his very own. Pick away my boy! We had a chat about being under the sink and agreed that there would be no more Q-Tip picking unless I gave him permission. Who would have ever thought that I would have ever said those words?
